PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

MAXIREAL® is a premium biological soil amendment developed to stimulate root development, improve nutrient uptake and promote stronger, healthier avocado trees.

Produced through a proprietary anaerobic fermentation process, MAXIREAL® contains naturally occurring beneficial biological compounds that support a healthy soil ecosystem and create ideal conditions for vigorous root growth.

MAXIREAL® helps maximize the natural potential of avocado trees by improving root architecture, increasing nutrient absorption and promoting healthier plant development throughout the growing season.

HOW MAXIREAL® WORKS

MAXIREAL® begins working in the rhizosphere immediately after application.

The rhizosphere is the biologically active zone surrounding plant roots where beneficial microorganisms interact with the tree.

Once activated and applied, beneficial bacteria colonize the root zone and initiate several natural biological processes that improve plant growth.

These microorganisms work continuously to create healthier soil conditions and stimulate root development.

THE POWER OF BENEFICIAL BACTERIA

MAXIREAL® contains naturally occurring Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR), including Azotobacter spp., microorganisms recognized worldwide for improving plant growth through natural biological processes.

Unlike conventional fertilizers, beneficial bacteria work by improving the biological activity of the soil rather than simply supplying nutrients.


BIOLOGICAL FUNCTIONS

Biological Nitrogen Fixation

Azotobacter bacteria naturally capture atmospheric nitrogen and transform it into forms that become available within the root zone.

FIELD OBSERVATIONS

Santa Bárbara, Heredia, Costa Rica

Field observations conducted in a commercial avocado orchard in Santa Bárbara, Heredia, Costa Rica, demonstrated outstanding tree performance following the implementation of a MAXIREAL® management program.

During the flowering period, the orchard experienced strong wind conditions that have historically resulted in significant flower abortion. According to the grower's records and previous production seasons, flower losses in the area commonly reach up to 50% under similar environmental conditions.

Despite these challenging conditions, trees treated with MAXIREAL® exhibited exceptionally high flower retention and fruit set, with minimal flower abortion observed throughout the evaluation period.

In addition to improved flower retention, treated trees produced fruit with greater size, more uniform development, and improved overall quality compared to the orchard's historical performance.

These field observations suggest that maintaining a vigorous root system and an active rhizosphere may contribute to improved tree resilience during critical reproductive stages, supporting better fruit set and enhanced fruit development.


The treated trees also showed healthier inflorescences with fewer necrotic flower structures under conditions favorable for flower diseases and flower abortion.

ACTIVATION INSTRUCTIONS

200 Liter (53 Gallon) Tank

Twenty-four hours before application:

Mix:

• 1 Liter MAXIREAL®

• 200 grams of sugar

(Or substitute with 1 Liter molasses)

Allow the mixture to activate for approximately 12 hours in a shaded area.

After activation, complete the tank with clean water to 200 liters.

Agitate before and during application.


APPLICATION METHODS

MAXIREAL® can be applied by:

• Soil drench

• Fertigation

• Drip irrigation

• Foliar spray

For best results, apply to:

• Root zone

• Soil surrounding the tree

• Lower trunk

• Foliage


APPLICATION FREQUENCY

Young Trees

Apply every 15 days.

Mature Trees

Apply once per month throughout the growing season.

Stressed Trees

Apply every 7–15 days until recovery.

Continue monthly maintenance applications afterward.


COMPATIBILITY

Compatible with most nutritional programs.

Avoid mixing with:

Copper-based bactericides

Strong disinfectants

Water acidifiers

Always perform a jar compatibility test before tank mixing.
